What a gift to be teaching! As a proud graduate of Holy Trinity School and lifelong parishioner, I have been blessed to work in our parish and school for the past 20 years in a variety of capacities including Director of Religious Education, Safe Environment Coordinator, and substitute teacher. In addition to those roles, I have also had the pleasure of working with my husband, Wally, as Athletic Directors in the school. Holy Trinity parish and school are a second family to us as we have been and continue to be active within the community along with our five children. Monica (18), Elizabeth (17), and Claire (14) are graduates of Holy Trinity, and Michael (10) and Anne (8) are current students in 5th and 3rd grades. I am also blessed to have my mom, siblings, and nieces and nephews in the parish (and some in the school as well)!
During my time in religious education and substitute teaching, God has nurtured my love of teaching. I am thrilled to be teaching 2nd grade this year and preparing the students to receive the Sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion! I am grateful to be familiar with the curriculum, comfortable teaching, and know the school and families so well. I can already tell this is going to be a wonderful year in 2nd grade and Holy Trinity School!
